Homemade Lemonade
  • Zest of 3 lemons
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 cups cold water
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice - about 6 lemons
  1. In your medium sauce pan over low-medium heat add your sugar, lemon zest and 2 cups of water.
  2. Let simmer until sugar is fully disolved - about 10 minutes
  3. Be sure to not let your mixture come to a boil.
  4. Let your mixture cool completely before adding your lemon juice.
  5. Strain your lemon mixture and discard any solids.
  6. Once strained add your lemonade concentrate to your pitcher and add 4 more cups of water.
  7. Let chill in fridge until cool and serve.
