Ginger Snaps

Serves: 25 cookies
- 3/4 cup (171 grams) unsalted butter - softened to room temperature
- 1 cup (201 grams) granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup (85 grams) molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 cups (256 grams) flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup (50 grams) granulated sugar - for rolling
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheet with silpat or parchment paper.
- Conbine your dry ingredients and set aside
- Using a mixer cream butter and sugar.
- Add molasses and egg, mix well.
- Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Shape into 2 teaspoon balls, roll in white sugar and place on lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let cool on a wire rack.
