Ginger Snaps

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup (171 grams) unsalted butter - softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup (201 grams) granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup (85 grams) molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups (256 grams) flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup (50 grams) granulated sugar - for rolling
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheet with silpat or parchment paper.
  2. Conbine your dry ingredients and set aside
  3. Using a mixer cream butter and sugar.
  4. Add molasses and egg, mix well.
  5. Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  6. Shape into 2 teaspoon balls, roll in white sugar and place on lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Let cool on a wire rack.
